What is Open Fencing?
Open Fencing is more than just practice; it’s a community of passionate fencers engaging in bouts outside of a structured class. It’s the ideal setting for refining techniques, testing strategies, and fostering camaraderie among fellow enthusiasts.
Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30-10:00pm are designated for Foil Fencers.**
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-10:00pm are designated for Saber Fencers.**
Fencers are not restricted to those nights – contact your fellow fencers and meet up at your convenience during club hours for added practice, provided it does not interfere with our classes.
**If you are planning your first visit to FAB for Open Fencing nights, it’s advised to email or call 617-924-4466 first to let us know you’re coming. Our regular members love to meet new people!

Pass Day ($20): Experience Open Fencing on a single day with our Pass Day option. Dive into the action, meet fellow fencers, and make every session count.
Monthly Membership ($100): Elevate your commitment to excellence with our Monthly Membership. Enjoy unlimited access to Open Fencing sessions throughout the month, giving you the flexibility to practice at your pace.

Private Individual and Group Lessons:
Private lessons are encouraged for any fencing student who would like to get the winning edge at competitions, personalized instruction, or is unable to attend any of our regularly scheduled classes.
Available by appointment. 20-, 30-, or 60-minute duration – or longer!
Private Group Classes for 2 or more can also be arranged.
Learn to fence in your own private class with a family member or group of friends.
Available by appointment, 60-minute duration minimum.
Floor Fee (Pass Day) $20 per visit for non-members; free for members
