Fencing Academy of Boston introduces the exciting and energetic sport of saber fencing to youths in Youth Beginner Fencing (ages 9-14) and Fabbies Fencing (ages 6-9). Students will get to practice their new fencing moves by the end of the first class. Don’t worry about buying any equipment – all you need is a t-shirt, long stretchy athletic pants (no shorts allowed), and clean, dry sneakers, and we’ll provide the protective and electric gear. Students who go on to enroll in an 7-week intro course may be ready to progress to classes in our Youth Competitive Program after one or two terms.
Youth Beginner Fencing is for older children and early teens aged 9-14
Fabbies Fencing is for younger children aged 6-9

USA Fencing Free Trial Membership 14 free days of membership for first-time fencers – form also available when you arrive.
Full Annual Membership in USA Fencing at the Non-Competitive level is the minimum requirement for fencers continuing after the trial membership expires (14 days).
Adult Intro Fencing Classes – Fall Class Schedule starts after Labor Day!
Get an awesome new workout routine! If you are into sports, history, and/or fantasy, or were inspired by watching the Olympics and said, “Someday I want to try that,” make this year “someday.”
Don’t worry about buying any equipment to start – all you need is a t-shirt, long pants that are stretchy and athletic (no shorts allowed), and clean, dry sneakers, and we’ll provide the protective and electric gear to start fencing by the end of your first class. Students who go on to enroll in the 7-week intro course are often ready to join Fencing Academy of Boston as members by the end of the first or second session. Your favorite new activity is just one fencing class away!

Adult Intro to Fencing classes are for adults and teens aged 15+
